     WHAT A TURN OUT!!
True to our luck, it was -4 and snowing the morning of our Open House. I'm certain many people assumed that it was cancelled, but we still had close to 100 people!!!
Thankyou to all that came out and helped to make this a special day for us. We had people from Edmonton, Calmar, Stony Plain, Drayton Valley, Falun, Camrose, Mulhurst, Breton, Winfield, Mameo, all around Pigeon Lake and of course Thorsby, Warburg and Stony Plain.
We put on demonstrations of drill riding, gymkana and centered riding skills using our great Curlies: Propspector, Toiya, Holley, Oakley and Daisy. Some visitors from Edmonton participated in the riding seminar. The Boy Scouts from Edmonton arrived later in the day and a couple of members were able to have their picture taken on a Curly!
We would like to extend an invitation to our next years event and take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support, not only for this Open House, but throughout the past couple of years. It has been alot of fun getting to meet all of our new friends and it is very rewarding to us to match up our Curly horses with their new owners.
