Jewel and her full sister Opal, came to us the spring of 2005. They had not been handled much when they arrived and we were thrilled with how quickly they trusted us.  Jewel is the younger of the two, foaled in 2001. She is steady, solid, sure footed and smooth, everything you could ask of any horse. She is bold, has not spooked, neither mare shown us any bad habits at all!  Here she is after a couple of weeks under saddle. Anna was so confident with her she was riding her outside after only a couple of rides! Same as Jewel!  She's on the left in this picture. She is just a tad shorter than her sis.  And heading back from the road. Jewel is a very solid mare. Quick to learn and very willing to learn. Was ground driving within 20 minutes and the first time we saddled her we mounted her! Both these girls are excellent choices for trail horses or family horses. Super ground manners and respectful.  Jewel is ABC registered, ABC539SE, out of Ethel's Diamond by Sundance Kid. She stick measured at 14.2hh July of 2005. |
