Here's Bill!! An awesome horse to train. Very willing and curious.
Bill is always attentive, forward and responsive. He will try his hardest for you and always trying to figure out what you want him to do. He was started under saddle last spring and we've done some trail rides with him last fall. Our visitor from Germany rode him for the Canadian Curly Horse Association annual trail ride and clinic.  Bill was also in our annual Challenge of the Breeds Horse Show. He is super around other horses. We have trailered him a number of times now and he hauls very well. No resistance to load and stands very quietly. He sheds his mane for the summer and grows it all back for the winter. Has a super ringlet mane by January. He does not shed his tail. From his momma he has one blue appy eye. He has those hard Curly hooves and excellent bone.  Spring of 2005 we have started using Bill in our riding lessons. He is proving to be trustworthy and willing.    To our American friends who are reluctant to "cross border shop" we would like to say that we are well experienced in shipping horses into the US and would be happy to provide references about our ability to make it a trouble free experience. |
