Sunnybrook Stables Exchange Program!
Opportunity to work with Hypo-allergenic Horses.

We have a number of requests every year from people all over the world to come to our stables and learn about the North America Curly Horses and our training methods. We offer an opportunity to work with the horses hands on.




The Purpose

Aimed at people with allergies that want to learn more about the Curly horses and possibly test their allergies with the horses. Must have some experience with horses.
Welcome!

Sunnybrook Stables will provide:
  • 1. Accommodations.
  • 2. Food.
  • 3. Opportunity to work with Curly horses.
  • 4. Opportunity to take riding lessons.
Sunnybrook Stables will attempt to:
  • 1. Provide participants with 3 riding lessons per week.
  • 2. Coach participants with proper horse handling.
  • 3. Provide at least one trail ride per 3 month stay.
  • 4. Provide opportunity to show a horse.


Other Opportunities. Depending on when you attend you may be able to join us and/or our horses at:
  • 1. Calgary Stampede.
  • 2. Spruce Meadows.
  • 3. Focus on 4-H.
  • 4. Edmonton Klondike Days.
  • 5. St. Paul Ag Days.
  • 6. Drayton Valley Horse Show.
  • 7. Various horse shows in the surrounding area.
Other Info.
  • - Participants must be self motivated.
  • - Participants will be required to work unsupervised.
  • - Participants must be horse smart.
  • - Participants will be requested to saddle horses for students taking lessons and camps.
  • - Participants will be required to perform ranch maintenance.
